| Thelma in Ongpin St. |
We love Chinatown and we cannot let the Chinese New Year 2014 pass without experiencing the Year of the Wooden Horse's awesome energy and joie de vivre. With a school holiday in time with the week-long celebration, we trekked to Ongpin St. and relished what it has to offer.

We are not alien to Chinatown and the wonders it shares to common people like us but that fruitful Tuesday was warm with blessings and comfort calm. People were walking but not rushing, and the food that we shared, that was not the unusual, was a notch higher than the usual. I bought a Tiger's eye bracelet with a matching feng shui ritual by the roadside, while Thelma got a couple of Chinese-looking items, then we just walked and embraced the Chi flowing, promising a great year ahead of us. Kung Hei Fat Choi!
